Been a long time. I haven't had my computer for a little bit cuz it died. My hard drive went... again. Good thing it's under warranty. I spent like 2 weeks trying to get the stuff off the hard drive. So I was using Mikey's laptop. Yeah well his hard drive went. Oh and my hard drive in my comp at work went. I am the official hard drive killer. LOL. But it's ok I bought Mikey a new one and they're sending me a new one for free. So hopefully I don't kill the next one. But in like 2 months I'm buying a new computer anyway. So Marc n Lex got married Aug 7th. AND OMG Sandy got engaged like 3 weeks ago. Can u believe that? God I feel so old. Can u believe I'm gonna be 23? That's nuts. My nephew is now over a month old. He's a little cutie pie. Blah I gotta go clean I'm such a procrastinator. I'll update more later....

Well I had an interesting weekend. Me and Mikey went down to DE for the weekend to visit Cathy and Ed. For those who don't know Cathy was my boss at Chadwick til she moved to DE and left me. Her replacement Andy sucked ass. She thought I was like her secretary and shit. So I left Chadwick and had a job offer the very next day. Well Cathy told me last night that Andy had 4 temps doing my job and just put in her notice. Couldn't do it without me... lol. So anyway we went to DE. It's so freakin nice down there. We took the Benz so that we could use the nav. Well i accidently put in no toll route and it took us thru east bumblefuck. We had to go all the way to the bottom of DE. It was an interesting trip considering me and mikey were fighting before we left and for about the first hour of the trip... lol. We're so funny when we fight, and we always make up quick. So anyways got to relax. Cathy and Ed live right off the water and have their very own dock. So of course they bought a boat. So me and mikey were looking at houses down there. Most likely gonna get a vacation house down there. I'm excited. The one we looked at had a dock, so my daddy said if we got it then he'd have to buy a boat... lol. So now we're planning another trip down there and this time we might buy a house. So anyway Sat we were having fun looking at houses with the realtor and Ed started acting funny, like he was drunk. So we took him back to the house and he took a nap. Cathy said he got like that sometimes and he takes a nap then wakes up fine. Well we got back to the house after a little while and Ed woke up. He was still acting really funny. So I told mikey it was starting to creep me out. So mikey came out and we all thought maybe he should check his blood sugar cuz of his diabetes. Well theyjust got a new machine and ed is the only one who knows how to work the stupid thing and he's very out of it. So then after a minute Mikey told Cathy to call 911 cuz he was so out of it. So she did. They came and said it wasn't his blood sugar but something was definately wrong. They kept asking him questions and he couldn't even tell them where he was. It was kinda funny cuz at one point the paramedic was talking to Cathy saying Ed doesn't even know where he is and he bursts out Potnets (which is the name of the neighborhood they live in... lol) plus when we tought his blood sugar was low we tried giving him strawberries. He ate the whole thing, cathy was sitting there saying take a bite and he ate the whole thing, stem n all. So they took him to the hospital which is like half an hour away. So we got to spend some time in the hospital in DE. So they found out that his corinary artery (if i could spell) was 98% blocked and he had been having mini strokes the past few months, this was just a bigger mini stroke, if that makes sense. So now he's having surgery. Poor guy, all he keeps saying is that he wants to take us out on the boat. So I'm already planning my next trip, hopefully ed will stay healthy for the next one. Marc and Lex are getting married on sunday. I finally picked up my dress, lol. So sat were getting manicures and pedicures. Then going shoe shopping, yay! So now I'm relaxing after a long day at work, month end. But I do love my job. I think I'm gonna get some ice cream. mmmMMMMmmm.

long long time

I know I haven't updated in a long time. I've been so crazy busy. As of last Sunday (July 17th) I'm an aunt. My sister had a little baby boy, Matthew Shaun Hicks. I sat in the freakin hospital for 11 hours. Definately not doing that ever again, not even when I give birth, lol. He came home tuesday. Then he went back into the hospital on thursday morning. Something about a Belly Ruben count. Nothing too big just had to stay in the hosp. til sat morning. So me and Mikey went over to see the baby today. Also Mikey's mom-mom went into the hosp this week. Her heart stopped and they had to put in a pace maker plus there was some internal bleeding. They said it was real bad. She's getting better now though. We were so worried. So last night me Sandy and Alexis were gonna go to the cave for Lex's Bacholorette party. Well then Marc started to throw a fit cuz he didn't want Lex going to see men strip. So we decided to throw a bachlor/bachlorette party here at my house. So Marc, Lex, San, Ray, and Dae came over. Marc, Mikey n Ray didn't drink. So yeah the rest of us got trashed. We had so much fun. Took a ton of pics, some I don't even remember, lol. But I can't even begin to describe the conversations we had last night, it was nuts. I had Kiyla for the day yesterday, love that kid so much. Took her to Elle's b-day party (Lex's daughter). She hung out here after and went to sleep cuz Sandy was coming here after her bedtime. I also started my new job this week, I totally love it there. So my professional photos from the wedding came in last week. The photography company has them up on their website so people can order prints if they want. Anyone who wants the link just IM me and let me know.
Took Kiyla for the night on Thursday night cuz I had Friday off and Mikey had Thurs night off. Kiersten came and spent the night too. That girl cracks me up. So it was overall a good night. Kiyla was being kinda bratty on Friday morning but that's normal for a 3 yr old. She just couldn't make up her mind. She told Mikey that she wanted to get changed from pj's into regular clothes and go outside. Then when he finds the clothes she doesn't want to get dressed anymore. lol. She's so cute tho.
So my car went back to the shop. A week or so ago me and Mikey were driving home and it started acting up and shut off. After waiting a few minutes it started again. It was supposed to be towed to the shop from the house but the tow truck broke down on the way here. We finally got it towed and Marc worked on it friday. He called friday after work said the car was done and to go pick it up. There was no way I was going to get there before 6. Marc said he'd have Jerry leave the key under the mat and he'd pick it and leave it at his place til we could pick it up. So then Alexis asked if I wanted to go to the movies so Marc was going to bring the car here. Well while he was looking for the key he started to feel sick and went back to his apartment. He left my f'n car unlocked and left it, not sure where the key was inside. So Alexis came and got me for the movie. We saw Monster-in-law. It was funny. Well when we left Lex called Marc and he was sleeping. So when she told me the car was still unlocked I said I had to go get it. Then Marc mentions after he put the part in he didn't test drive it cuz it was quiting time. So he was going to come test drive it but he was sleeping and didn't want to. So I have a nice new stereo in my car and the doors are unlocked. Now this isn't a great area, it's right across from the prison on State. And the location is kind of towards the back. Jerry never leaves cars out unless they're getting picked up and he suggests not leaving them for more then a few hours. So my car is sitting there unlocked and it's midnight. So I'm like fuck that I'm getting my car. So I'm driving home and I'm like not even 5 minutes from my house and the fucking damn thing stalls. I'm in the right turning lane on evan's trying to turn onto byberry, anyone who knows the area knows that that lane is busy as hell no matter what time of day or night. So I wait and it starts again and I get into my neighborhood and it stalls again. So the car is now sitting in front of my house once again not going anywhere. Marc said it was a cam sensor or something like that. Well I'm pissed as hell at Marc for telling me my car is fixed and it's not. So now I have to have the damn thing towed back to Jerry's shop. Thank god this thing is under warranty. I told mikey I don't want the damn thing anymore and he agrees. So he said if we get it fixed this time and it acts up again we're getting rid of it. So I may be getting a new car. Mikey even said I might be able to get my prelude I've always wanted. OMG I would be so happy. I want to take my remote start and put it in the prelude. I really want my stereo too but we'll see.
Tomorrow is back to work. And now I have to go wake Mikey up.

Ok so I finally put my honeymoon pics on my webshots friday. I was lucky enough to have friday off. I love having a friday off, mondays are good to have off too. Sucks I work tomorrow. So friday I did some running around bought some stuff. We got the new tv on thursday and I totally love it. Our next project is either new wooden fencing or jacuzzi tub. But now that might be different. Mike said the FOP may have changed the law so that city employees can now live outside the city. If that's the case we're going to most likely move... again. Not right away. I love this house so much but city taxes are a pain. So it's something we will look in to. We're not even sure that it's changed yet so Mikey is going to call the FOP tomorrow. Guess we'll see where that goes. So anyway I went wedding dress shopping with Alexis on Saturday. She got a really nice dress. I've started looking at bridesmaid dresses. I can pretty much do whatever I want cuz I'm the only one in the wedding party, besides her daughter who's the flower girl. I've found a bunch of dresses I like alot so this may be a hard choice. I wonder if Marc is gonna cry cuz he cried at our wedding. Marc and Alexis just bought a house. I haven't seen it yet, only pictures.
So Saturday evening my mom and dad came over. Daddy wanted to check out the new tv. So I made a nice dinner for everyone. Me and my mom ran out to do some shopping. It was a nice evening. Now the weekend is over and it's back to work tomorrow. Ugh I need sleep.

it's been awhile

I know I haven't updated in a long time. I've been married almost 3 weeks now. Feels the same. Not used to signing my new name yet. Ugh I've been so incredibly crazy lately. I went back to work the tuesday after we got back from our honeymoon. I've been non stop working, busy trying to catch up on 2 weeks worth of work I missed. I think today I was finally totally caught up with things. Then trying to plan my sister's baby shower is taking up alot of time too.
My honeymoon was great and I have lots of pictures I have to put up on my webshots still. We went ATVing in Jamaica, swam with the sting rays in Grand Cayman, and swam with the dolphins in Cozumel. The ship was great with non stop fun stuff to do. OMG all the food on the ship was included. We had the breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, dinner buffet, sit down formal dinner, the midnight buffet, 24 pizza and ice cream, and to top it all off 24 hour room service all included. It was so nice, even tho I gained like 100 pounds lol. I was supposed to get a massage but we slightly burned at Grand Cayman so I didn't do it. I was so mad cuz I wanted one so bad and knew it would hurt if I did. It was the kind of sun burn that really didn't bother you unless you touched it. But I still had the greatest time ever. We're definately doing that again sometime in the future. But I missed my animals so coming home wasn't too dissapointing.
Got some really great wedding gifts and a ton of money. So we decided to buy another big screen. We got a 65" and put the 57" downstairs. The new tv comes tomorrow. We got free shipping on it and a free surround sound system. So we moved the 57" downstairs and hooked up the new system to it, the system included at 5 disk dvd changer. I didn't want to put it upstairs cuz I love the surround sound system we already have upstairs. So this weekend will finally be my first time to relax after catching up with everything. I have a half day tomorrow and friday but Cathy said she may give me off on friday cuz she's taking off. I love my boss Cathy. I went to her house last sat to help her with her yard sale. I'm gonna be so bummed when she moves to delaware. But I'm so gonna love visiting her and going out on her boat. But now I have to go to my mom's to fax some stuff for Mikey and do baby shower stuff. I'll try to update more, promise.

So here I am sitting in my old room at my parents house.. now known as my daddy's office. In about 16 hours I will be getting married. Never thought this day would come... but it's here. I'm worn out from a very long day of running around and I really miss my kitty. By now he's yelling at me and cuddling up on me wanting me to go to bed so he can cuddle. Got my nails done and a pedicure... and my eye brows waxed. OMG... I went to walmart after the nail place to buy some last minute things. My eyes were like bright red from being waxed. I looked retarded. This will be my last update for a bit cuz I'll be in the carribean on my honeymoon living it up. The reception ends at 11pm and our flight leaves at 7:15 the next morning. So my dad is picking us up to go to the airport at 5:15 in the am. Yeah talk about no sleep. Mikey waited until today to pack and I had already left to do my running around so you know I'm going to have to repack for him when I get home tomorrow night. Ugh... I just can't wait to be on my honeymoon... stress free. I'll be a little crazy cuz I won't have my cuddle bug oreo... but I can cuddle with Mikey. My cat is like my child and I go nuts when I'm away from him. My parents are going to live at my house while I'm gone and take care of the animals. I think I'll feel better knowing they will be there full time. Well I guess it's late now and I gotta get up at like 8.... blah. So it's bedtime for me and next time I update I will be Mrs. Michael Shankin... for about a week already. Night night.

I know it's been forever since I updated. I've been so crazy lately. I've been working hard and today was my last day. I so needed a vacation, work has been very crazy. I guess it's a good thing I love my job right. The people at work gave me balloons and a cake and a nice card. So last weekend my brother and sister in law came in from Utah. We had dinner at my parents then went to Sandy's for the evening. We hooked up Kiersten and Dae, things are going real good there. So Kiersten and Dae stayed here fri and sat night. Saturday we just hung out and went to Charlie's daughter's b-day party. We were supposed to go to passover dinner at Mike's aunt's house... that didn't happen. My fam came over on Sunday and we had a big dinner here. Alessandra wasn't feeling well so she didn't get to make it here. Did lots of running around on friday. Had a half day of work, then had to go to my parents get some money then go and pay the caterer. I'm just glad that's all taken care of. The shot glasses were supposed to come in on wednesday. Well they were broken in transit. So I'm like freaking out. Then I call on friday to make sure everything is getting rushed and the stupid retard guy says he's not sure if they are going to be here in time. So I'm freaking out even more. I'm screaming at the guy on the phone telling him that I need those glasses by friday. So Mikey takes the phone and the guy is still retarded saying he can't authorize anything. So Mikey speaks to a manager and gets everything taken care of. They will be here tomorrow... well I guess technically today. So that relieves some stress. I just keep praying the weather will be ok. This is why I didn't want an outdoor wedding... but hey shit happens. Other shit has happened that I really don't want to go into cuz I'm still really pissed. But I will get over it and have a wonderful day. I just can't wait for the honeymoon. I so need to just relax. There's so much to do and I feel like I have no time. And everyone keeps telling me to relax it will be ok. I'm so sick of hearing that. I just want to do all I can to make everything perfect. I know on saturday I will relax and just enjoy everything. Ok now I must sleep... well try...

My fun weekend

So yeah I definately had me a great weekend. Saturday night was my bachlorette party. OMG I can't even begin to tell you. I put pictures up in my webshots. My goal of the night was to get really drunk, and well I did good. So good that I really don't remember the last picture on webshots.. lol. So Me Sandy Sarah and Alexis all went to the cave. Me Sandy and Alexis all kept up with eachother drinking, so we all had about 6 beers and a shot of jeager. Then when we got home drank more beer. All the guys were here when we got home but they were getting ready to go play ball. So us dumb ass girls go with them. We get there and within 5 minutes we all have to pee. No one would take us home to pee, so we walked out into the field and peed... lol. we get back to the park and I want to play on the swings. The problem was there was only little kids swings, so my dumb ass wants to stand on one. Well I couldn't pick my leg up high enough so Alexis comes over and helps lift my leg. Yeah you think I could keep my balance... hahaha. We both fell over laughing. So then we get cold and wanna go back to my house. No one would let us drive, wonder why. So Marc said he'd take us. So we stopped at Walgreens to get sandy smokes and me and sandy go in. We come out and Alexis has her door open. OMG she puked all over the parking lot... haha. So Marc drops me and San off at my house and takes Alexis home. So i don't know what we did but I remember talking to Kayla at some point, eventually the guys came back. Sandy went out with Jay and I went to bed. Sandy came back and mike was freaking out cuz he called Jay's phone.. cuz she was only supposed to be gone like an hour and it was 2 hours later.. so anyways he calls jay's phone and jay was like i don't know you, even tho he was just at our house. So mike was pissed cuz he was looking out for sandy and jay was being an asshole. And sandy told him when she got home that he was trying to sleep with her, even tho jay knows ray and is supposedly friends with him and her. So it was a great night. So then sunday ray kiersten kiyla and jaiden come over. We were trying to hook up dae and kiersten. Me san and kier all made a big yummy dinner and just hung out and chilled for a while. I had so much fun. This weekend is looking busy too. So I guess we'll see then.

OMG 2 WEEKS!!!

So things have been nutty this week so I haven't had too much time to update. Sunday me and Mikey went to the Columbus market in burlington nj with Marc n Alexis. Had lots of fun. BBQ'd here afterwards. Then its started... I started feeling sick. I wake up monday morning and can't f'n talk. So I call out with what voice I can get together. Went to the doctors and got meds. Well tuesday still sick, call out. Wednesday I'm still f'n sick and the meds aren't doing shit. So I call out and go back to the doctors. So I see a different doctor and she tells me that cuz of all the stress from the wedding my immune system just kinda doesn't want to work. So she puts me on like 3 meds so I can get better and quick. So this morning I'm starting to feel a little better. Got my one package on tuesday. The candy is so cute. Got my other package today with the camera's. The shot glasses are supposed to be shipped out this week. Everything is going so great, except me being sick. I go pick up my dress tomorrow. Sandy and Alexis are going with me and getting theirs too. I'm gonna take a ton of pictures. Hopefully Mikey lets me take the benz out tomorrow. He told me last weekend that he's got like 2 years left on the car payments and he wanted to get a new car this year. But now he's thinking that he could wait 2 years when the car is paid off and give it to me and buy himself a new one. So I'm not complaining. So this weekend is my bachlorette party.. woo hoo. All us girlies going out to the cave. I'm going to drink, drink, drink. There's a club afterward that Q102 goes to and we'll probably hang out and dance some. I can't wait. My goal of the night on saturday is to get very drunk. Just let loose and have a great time. God I can't believe I'm getting married in 2 weeks. I'm so excited I'm going nuts. I gotta start working on the place seating cards... kinda been putting it off... god I finished the thank you cards almost 2 weeks ago and haven't sent them out. Blah... Well I guess I'm gonna go start on the seating cards.

Ya know it cracks me up how men can never get over themselves. Do guys totally assume that us girls sit around and wait for them? That once they are out of our lives we just sit at home and do nothing until they come back into our lives? Sandy told me that she ran into Tim, this guy I dated a few times. Things just didn’t work out, we were supposed to meet up once and he never showed at Sandy’s. Now take into mind this was way before I met Mikey. She runs into him at the bar and he didn’t recognize her cuz she wasn’t with Ray. So she’s like “Ray’s girl, you dated my friend and dicked her over.” So he’s like oh yeah Emily I really liked her. So Sandy’s like well she’s getting married now. So he says oh I guess that means I don’t have a chance huh. WTF??? Men must assume that we sit and wait for them to call. Like I’m going to leave my wonderful fiancé and be with a guy I kinda liked a long time ago, right. Does anyone here agree with me? Cuz it just seems like men are so like that. Like my world revolves around them or something. Whatever. But then again there are some girls that just can’t move on right. And this just figures that I’m the one who ends up marrying the guy that has an ex like that. People are just screwed up. Thank god I’m out of the dating game cuz it’s a trip and a half. Always putting on a show, dressing up to impress some guy. I love the whole being myself and not caring if my makeup is running down my face in the morning, he still kisses me and tells me how much he loves me. Girls when you find someone you can be that comfortable with stick with ‘em. Cuz any guy can hit on you in a bar while you’re all dolled up, but only the right guy loves you at your worst. Like when you’re sick and look like complete shit and he does whatever he can to make you feel better. I’ll tell ya guys like that, the ones that really mean it, are so rare.

So anyways I ordered all the favors and the camera’s. Thursday me and my mom and going to take my toast glasses to get engraved and buy some of the presents for the wedding party. Soon I send out the rehearsal dinner invites. Ugh wedding planning, fun but stressful.

Yesterday and today I have had the worst luck in the world. Yesterday I was driving home from work and my f'n car shut off. I was in the left turning lane on street road to get onto 95 and it just shut the fuck off. OMG it was horrible. This guy pushed me to the ramp, he stopped on coming traffic and everything. So Mikey came up to give me a jump, even tho I figured it wasn't my battery cuz I just got a brand new one like 3 months ago. So that didn't work. Then Mikey remembered that he never paid for the f'n triple A shit. So fortunately I had my Allstate road service card and they came and towed my car to the shop. Oh and to top it all off I had left work like 20 minutes early cuz I was feeling sick and I had super bad cramps. So it's just my luck that I'm stuck on the side of the road and I'm feeling like shit right. So Jerry calls today and says that it's my engine, it's done. So I'm getting a brand new engine put in, for free. Cuz Mikey was smart and got a warranty on my car. But I was having trouble with my tranny anyway and Mikey kept saying Marc was gonna check the fluids and shit but he never did. So I told Jerry to look at the tranny and shit, hopefully it was just the engine and not the tranny. But it really doesn't matter cuz it'll get fixed for free anyways. I just want my car back. So anyways I take the Taurus to work today cuz it might rain and the benz doesn't go out in rain if it doesn't have to. Wtf ever. Well there's something wrong with the Taurus cuz the light on the dash comes on saying a door is open when none of them are. Well it only does it every once and a while and Jerry looked at it and said that it wasn't a big deal so we were gonna wait to put it in the shop. So Mikey said that when we get my car back we'll drop off the Taurus. Well I had to take it to work today and the f'n light on the dash comes on while I'm driving home for lunch. So I wanted to take out the bulb in the globe in the ceiling so the battery wouldn't die. Well mikey of course was sleeping and told me to get a screwdriver and pop out the globe and take out the bulb. Yeah so I go and pop it off no problem and grab the stupid fucking thing. I burned my god damn fingers. So I get back to work and get some cream and band aids. I'm such an idiot. My cars are after me. Plus I have a burn on my left wrist I got from the oven on Easter. I'm falling apart man. So fortunately I have off tomorrow and can just get other crap done. I ordered the 1 kind of favors and hopefully tonight or tomorrow I'll order the other kind. Yesterday was exactly 1 month til my wedding. Scary stuff right... lol. I'm excited and everything has been going good.

I had a great Easter this year. Mom, Dad, Marc, Alexis, Jay (Alexis' dad), and Elle (Alexis' daughter) all came over for dinner. I made Spiral ham, green beans, and potato casserole. It was good. Over the weekend me and Mikey bought a 3 person swing for the porch. It converts into a bed and the one side sits up slightly. It was only $100 and it's great. Me, my daddy, and mikey were all sitting on it yesterday even though it was cold. We also bought a grill for the back porch. We had like $260 in gift certificates to Target. It's a nice grill. My dad helped us pick it out cuz we don't know anything about them except how to use them. So my mom and dad came over on sat so that daddy could help me put the grill together. I learned a valuable lesson when I put the swing together with mikey. He has the patience of a 3 yr old. So me and my dad put the grill together. Plus I made dinner on sat evening for everyone too. So now our back porch looks all cute. So all and all easter was good.

See look I'm udating more... yay me. So yeterday was a really ruff day. It's been 1 year since Mikey's dad died. It's been really hard on him. I guess it's never easy to lose a parent, but he lost both. I couldn't even imagine what it's like. And I hate the fact that I have no idea what to say. Like I feel I should say something to make it all better, but I can't. I just wish there was something I could do. With the wedding and all being so close I know he thinks about his parents alot. It all just really sucks. I wish his dad could have been around for our wedding. His dad was great, not perfect, but had a great personality. Most of all his dad loved me. Never liked any of mikey's gf's before me, not even the whore he was with for like 2 years. I think that makes things easier, knowing that he wanted us to get married. I mean if my dad hated my bf and then died I'd feel bad if I married him, knowing my dad hated him. Things are meant to happen for a reason... right? Cuz alot of things suck... and if they're meant to happen then that just sucks. Like that little girl that got kidnapped. If that girl getting kidnapped, and god knows what else before being killed, was meant to be then what kind of life is that. Imagine if someone told you that a family memeber of yours was meant to die in some horrible way. It's all so messed up. The sad thing is alot of people only care about themselves. How some people can watch the news and not feel sad for the people who lose their children. I know that if I lost a child or even if anything happened to Kiyla or Jaiden I'd die. There's so many sicko's out there. Mike tells me story's, not too bad mostly drugs n stuff and it's aweful. I would freak if he had to deal with child molesters and baby killers and that shit. The worlds so messed up and it gets worse every day. The fact that I would not ever consider sending my children to public school says something. Ugh I just don't want to think about it anymore. The world is really fucked up and there is not one damn thing I can do about. All I can do is protect my family the best I can. Ok enough of this depressing shit. It's nice to have a day off and I'm gonna enjoy it. I'm leaving in a few to go to my sister's. And once again Cathy asked me to work full time next week. Monday I'm finally getting off my butt and going to get my marriage licence. Well I must go get ready to go out. Hope everyone has a good easter.

I know I haven't updated this thing in forever. I was going to over the weekend then I got busy. I had my bridal shower last sat. It was great and I got alot of really nice gifts. I put the bridal shower pics on my webshots. And now my cat is trying to lay on my computer, making it very hard to type. I think he's just wanting some attention from his mommy. I've been working full time this week, and it's been crazy. Poor Oreo doesn't get the attention he gets when I come home at 1. He cuddles all night long tho. When I work part time he only cuddles in the morning. But work has been very busy and I'm gonna love my paycheck. I just really love the part time hours. Next week I have alot of wedding stuff to do. I'm going to order the wedding favors. And me and Mikey are going to target to pick out a grill cuz we have like $200 in gift certificates. We got some great gifts at the shower. Mike's favorite is the smoothie maker. He's made smoothies every day this week, lol. Mikey stayed for the whole shower with me and opened presents. It was so nice seeing family there. And I'm gonna have to make this short cuz I gotta cook dinner and the cat has fallen asleep on my arms. Well I'll try to update more promise.

I haven't updated in forever, I know. Things have been up and down as always. Work is going great, I really missed my job at Chadwick. I've been back 2 weeks part time and now next week I'm going in for a 40 hour week. Really don't know where that's headed right now, I'm just glad to be back. I really enjoy the part time so I have plenty of time to do wedding stuff. Once the wedding is over then I'm gonna go for the full time, if it's available. Cathy said when she asked me to come back that they only had part time, but as things get busier it will become full time. I'm hoping that this isn't the start of it cuz I really enjoy being done at 1 and be able to get other things done. But I sure do love this job. Had some testing done on monday. Really don't want to go into detail, it was horrible. Thank god it's over. Now I'm fighting a cold. Well me and Mikey both are. He had to get cortizon (i know i can't spell) shots and something else in his elbow so he's in major pain right now. I've been extra sweet to him cuz I know he is in pain and sick and all. Hopefully this cold will pass. I'm starting to take my women's one a day vitamins cuz I stopped and got sick. It's not that I stopped on purpose, it's just forgetful me. Wedding planning is going good. 45 days, ugh. As things get closer there's so much more to do. Next week I'm ordering the favors and me and Mikey are going to go get the marriage license. We were supposed to do that today but neither of us felt good enough. I know the bridal shower is coming up soon, I think I know when it is. But don't get me started on that cuz my mom did some shit to piss of me and mike with that whole thing. Sarah is starting to show a little belly. She went with me last sat to my test run on my hair and I kept poking it, lol. She said the baby didn't like it and was moving around alot. She found out that she's having a boy. We went out shopping the other night looking at furniture. I kept teasing her saying I was going to buy her baby pink clothes and a big pink teddy bear and whatever she named him I was going to turn it into a girls name. She wasn't too amused. We had fun and have gotten alot closer since she got preg. Plus I call her non stop about wedding stuff. My goal is to drive her crazy, cuz she did it to me when she got married. I finally sent out the invitations yesterday. With the snow I kept putting off going to the post office. I'm just glad they are out and now all I have to do is wait for the replys to come in. Now I have a few weeks to relax then things get really crazy. I can't believe that it's 2 months til my wedding. Things are all coming together perfectly. In about 2 weeks or so I'm ordering the wedding favors. I found something everyone will love, except my parents.. lol. But I'm not going to ruin the surprise. My boss from A.T. Chadwick called me the other night. I still keep in touch with her. But this was interesting cuz she offered me my job back, not thru the temp agency. It's still only part time going to turn into full time probably after the wedding. But she offered me great money. Considering I'm not done school and all. But she told the big bosses she really needed me back cuz I was the best. I loved that job so much. I'm so excited about going back. I start next week. I'll be working 9-1 everyday so I have the whole afternoon to do wedding stuff. Cuz as the wedding gets closer I'm going to be busy as hell. Then summer time I'll be taking more classes at Bucks. But things haven't been to eventful lately otherwise. Hoping to have a girls night out next weekend with Sandy and Alexis. Probably going to the bar or something not too sure. Hope everyone is having a fun weekend.

Had a real good weekend. Took Kiyla on Friday and kept her for the night. I love the little bugger to death but I realize I'm so not ready for kids. I love sleeping in on the weekends and doing what I want when I want. Plus when you have to take a kid somewhere you practically pack up their entire room with you when you go out. I realize how much I enjoy freedom. So if you're considering having kids take one of Sandy's for a night and you'll realize it's not easy. Soon enough my sister will have her own little bundle of joy. She told me that I'm gonna be in the room when she gives birth. I think that will be another thing to make me now want kids, lol. I watched a baby story on TLC the other day, only cuz it was on after a wedding story. OMG it looked so horrible, seeing it live will definately make me not want kids. Mikey watched a baby story with me and when the chick gave birth he started freaking out. He kept saying the baby looked like an alien, lol. He's like why is there blood on it, wtf is wrong with that baby. It was great. Then I told him he's going to be in the room when I give birth and he started freaking out more, lol. So yeah 74 days til my wedding. When the fuck did that happen. I swear like 2 weeks ago it was like 174 days til my wedding. Went for my dress fitting on Sat. Left Mikey alone with Kiyla, he did a good job. I think he's gonna be a great dad cuz he's so great with Kiyla and Jaiden and they both totally love him. I got me a great guy. So next week I'm sending out the invites. I got my first RSVP and I haven't even sent them out yet. But I gave Sandy, my sis, and my parent's theirs early. Sandy was my first reply. Well it's so past my bedtime night night.

Ugh such a busy week. Yesterday I got the stereo mikey got me for x-mas put in my car, along with the remote start with keyless entry. I'm so spoiled. I asked him on tuesday about pricing a remote start and he goes and has it put in. I'm so excited. Been a very busy week. Not too much going on besides working and spending time with my honey. There were some retarded drivers out this week. People are crazy cuz of snow. So I just hate driving when it's snowed cuz people suck and can't drive. So I haven't been to Sandy's in like 2 weeks and I really want to go over and see her. I hate working it takes too much time out of your fun time. And when I do get a day off all I want to do is relax and enjoy it cuz I know I have to work the next day. So it seems like all I ever do is work. I spent my weekend hanging out friday with my sis and yesterday cleaning then hanging out with Marc and Alexis. Today all I did was clean and mommy and daddy are comming over for dinner cuz they just got back from Utah. So I had a very uneventful week followed by an uneventful weekend. One good thing is yesterday Mikey put me on his bank accounts, from checking to savings to money markets. Then we opened a joint savings. And we picked out and ordered our wedding bands. So good stuff happened yesterday.

I know I haven't written in a long time. I haven't wrote in here once since Christmas and it's mid January. Well I've just been so busy with work and wedding stuff I barely have time to think. I guess it's a good thing I took this semester off of school or I'd prolly have killed myself by now. Today I finally got a day off of work and of course I'm going to spend my day running around cleaning and doing more wedding stuff. I got the invitations in, all stuffed just one more step. I have to put the directions in them. So my printer is crazy and I'm having the worst time with this. So I decide to use Mikey's printer (the one he got from his dad)we haven't touched this thing since we got it. Well the directions printed nicely but I wanted to put a map on the back of the directions but aparently his color ink is starting to go. So today I must run to staples, which fortunately is right up the street at red lion and the blvd like 5 minutes away. I love that my house is so close to everything, yet in a nice quiet area. The kids in my parents neighborhood walk down the middle of the street waiting to be hit, they're loud and annoying, and they are out at all hours of the morning being loud. It's so annoying. But I think back to when me and Sandy would run around like nuts, thought nothing bad could ever happen to us. God we were sooooo stupid. I'm just happy I don't have any stupid kids in my neiborhood. I would never want to deal with someone like me as a teenager. God I need to vaccuum. My cat keeps trying to eat the box that the invitations are in. We also got the unity candle in. It's so cute, I'm so excited. I ordered a unity candle holder but it got all messed up. These retards had this cute picture of this candle holder and I really liked it. It was called the cladda unity candle holder. Now anyone who's irish knows what a cladda ring is, even if your not you may know. It had the cutest hearts on it. So to show a little of my irish heritage I decided to get it. Well they sent it in and it's just a plain old silver unity candle holder. So shaun calls the place to ask about it and they said the hearts were just decoration. So he asks if we can order the hearts... they don't sell the hearts. So these morons have this candle holder that they tried to make look nice in the picture but they don't actually sell the parts to make it look nice and they call this plain silver thing a cladda candle holder. Omg I was so pissed. So now we're sending it back and I have to go to shaun's work today to order a new one. So as you can tell I'm just having a blast with this whole thing. I sat down for hours putting labels on envelopes, writing on the informal envelopes, and stuffing every invitation. I have about 80 invitations to send out, aprox. 140 people. I know that 8 are definately not coming. Our goal is 130, which is why we had to cut. My family in like Cali and Mississippi I know aren't coming. My cousin Lyn who just got married said she's in someone else's wedding. So we are doing good with the count. Mike has some people he cut that are back ups. So if enough people respond they can't make it then he will invite them. So hopefully by the end of the week I will have invitations out. I need to buy stamps and weigh these things. Well I must shower and get ready to go out and stuff now.

I know it's a few days after christmas but merry christmas. I would have had a good christmas if it weren't for 1 little bump, the flu. Me and my mom both got the flu on christmas morning. It was not fun at all. But otherwise it was really good. Christmas eve morning I woke up and found that Mikey had gotten me roses. He is such a sweetie. Had a very good christmas eve. Then Christmas morning I woke up feeling sick. Found out my mommy had the same thing. We both got it from Kiyla when we had visited her 2 days before. Everyone got sick. Sandy and kiersten were both sick christmas eve. From what Sandy told me Ray's entire family got sick, Ariel got sick, Karl got sick, Ray wasn't as bad as the rest of us. Me and mom slept through most of christmas. I was awake just long enough to open presents. Now I'm feeling much much better. Actually the day after x-mas we were feeling better. Think i'm spending new years eve at my sister's. Marc and Alexis might be going there too... not too sure yet. The snow was really pretty. I left the house once yesterday and that was to go to the corner to riteaid to get tampons. Tomorrow I'm taking Kiyla to Finding Nemo on ice. Well hope everyone had a good x-mas.

Pre-christmas rant

Crazy christmas season this year. Today me and my mommy went to Sandy's to do christmas with them cuz this year sandy is cooking x-mas dinner so she won't be able to stop over. Poor Kiyla bug was sick all night. Jaiden got sick too. So she had a really hard night. Kiyla was very happy to get presents. So Sandy was telling me Sarah actually came and hung out the other day. She was asking about my wedding and bridal shower. She thought we already had my bridal shower and was mad cuz she thought she wasn't invited. How can she even think i'm going to invite her? She never ever ever calls me or wants anything to do with me or any of her friends. The only one she ever calls is Sandy and she barely does that. She really thinks that after all the shit she's done I'm inviting her to my wedding. Before she met Walt and totally went off the deep end I would have had her in my wedding. Does she really believe that after not having anything to do with her we're still best friends. Cuz I gave up hope on that 6 months ago. Whatever, that makes me so mad. There's a couple more people i had to cut out. It's funny how a friendship can change in just a few months. There's a few people that i'm inviting that i'm not that close with but they're great and my friends and i would love to have them there. There's people that you're happy to be around, you get along with great, and you never ever have a problem with. For example, Ray's sister Charlene. She's great! I never chill with her without Sandy but she's funny as hell and so much fun to hang out with. There's other people who are childish and just piss me off. I'm not going to invite someone who's going to ruin my day. Someone who loves drama and attention and to make a big fuss over stupid shit. It's hard to make these decisions but I want my day to be perfect. Next friday I'm having like a million people over for the afternoon. My parents, the Lee family, and the nicelers. Everyone wants to come over and see the house, Becca is going back to school soon so now is the best time. I'm not even sure what I'm doing for new years this year. My sister might be having something so I might go there. Mikey has work, I got lucky last year and he was off. So if anyone is doing anything fun let me know I'm all for partying. Well I hope everyone has a great christmas.
